An offensive explosion from the bats of the Lipscomb baseball team propelled the Bisons to a series-clinching 13-5 win over La Salle Saturday afternoon Dugan Field. Allan Hooker led the charge going 3-for-3 at the dish and 4-RBI. Hooker delivered a 3-run homer in the fifth and a RBI-double in the sixth.
Redshirt freshman Allan Hooker made the most of his first career start by slamming a home run and a double to help lift Lipscomb over LaSalle 8-2 Friday at Dugan Field. Hooker's home run in the fourth was his first career hit.
After dropping its last two games, the Lipscomb baseball team will look to get back on track this weekend when the La Salle Explorers makes the trek to Music City for a three-game series at Ken Dugan Field. Friday’s first pitch has been moved up a couple of hours to 2 p.m.
