Baseball opens A-Sun play Thursday at Jacksonville
After getting off to the best start in school history, the Lipscomb baseball team will look to carry that success into the weekend when it visits Jacksonville for a three-game series to open Atlantic Sun Conference play on Thursday. Game one of the series is set for 5:30 p.m. CT Thursday.

The Lipscomb baseball team rallied from a two-run deficit to knock off Georgetown 8-3 Saturday at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium in nonconference action. Grant Massey finished the day 2-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBI.

After surrendering a seven-run lead, the Lipscomb baseball team fought back to score the winning run in the ninth to take a 10-9 decision over Belmont Tuesday night at Ken Dugan Field. Jonathan Allison finished the night 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.

Michael Gigliotti led the Bisons with a 2-for-5 day at the plate with a triple, a two-run homer and four RBI.
