Lipscomb baseball is getting set to host its Future Bison Day Camp at Ken Dugan Field beginning Monday June 8th through Thursday June 11th. All players between the ages of 6-12 are welcome, but hurry as there are just a limited number of spots available.

Lipscomb baseball’s right-handed pitcher Jeffrey Passantino and outfielder Michael Gigliotti continued their postseason haul Wednesday afternoon, being named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Team, announced by Collegiate Baseball.

The Lipscomb baseball team fell to No. 18 Radford, 5-2, in a NCAA Regional elimination game on Saturday afternoon at Hawkins Field. Lipscomb (39-20) saw its season come to an end with the loss, wrapping up a year that saw the Bisons set the school’s NCAA record for wins and claim the A-Sun title.

Playing in its second-ever regional the Lipscomb baseball team dropped a 9-1 decision to the reigning national champion and host Vanderbilt Friday night in front of an announced sellout crowd of 3,626 at Hawkins Field.

For just the second time in program history the Lipscomb baseball team is headed to the NCAA Baseball Tournament with play set to begin on Friday as the No. 4 seed in the Nashville Regional hosted by Vanderbilt. The Bisons and Commodores will square off at 7 p.m. at Hawkins Field on ESPN3.
