An offensive explosion from the bats of the Lipscomb baseball team propelled the Bisons to a series-clinching 13-5 win over La Salle Saturday afternoon Dugan Field. Allan Hooker led the charge going 3-for-3 at the dish and 4-RBI. Hooker delivered a 3-run homer in the fifth and a RBI-double in the sixth.

After falling victim to Tennessee over the weekend, the Lipscomb baseball team will look to even the season series Tuesday when it travels to Knoxville to face the Volunteers in a 3 p.m. CT midweek tilt at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Lipscomb baseball team entered the ninth inning tied with Tennessee, but costly mistakes vaulted the Volunteers to a 6-0 win Friday evening on a snow-covered Perfect Game South Field at the Lake Point Sporting Complex.

The Lipscomb baseball team has canceled its weekend action at Ken Dugan Field due to inclement weather conditions in the Nashville area. The games will not be made up. Also last week's postponement with Middle Tennessee will now be played on March 25th at 6 p.m. in Murfreesboro.

Lipscomb baseball’s first road tilt of the season, originally set for Tuesday, Feb. 17 against Middle Tennessee, has been postponed to a later date yet to be announced due to the wintry conditions across the middle Tennessee area.

Martinez-McGraw was nearly unhittable on Friday afternoon as he limited the Bulldogs to only two hits in six innings of work. He allowed just one unearned run and struck out two batters. This is the first career weekly honor for the senior.

The Lipscomb baseball team finished off a season-opening sweep over Butler Saturday after getting 9-8, 8-3 wins in a Valentine’s Day twinbill at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium. Lipscomb (3-0) pounded out 25 hits on Saturday and scored 17 runs.

A career-best four-hit day by Adam Lee led the way as the Lipscomb baseball team downed Butler 9-8 Saturday in Game 1 of a Valentine’s Day doubleheader at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium. Lipscomb pounded out 15 hits.
