NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Continuing the 12-game homestand, the Lipscomb baseball team welcomes Alabama A&M to Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh stadium on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
Fresh off a 1-3 performance in the 2013 “Mule Mix Classic”, the Bisons (4-4) look to rebound against the Bulldogs (1-8).
Redshirt junior Jacob Knott will get the nod on the hill for Lipscomb after making his first career start against Tennessee Tech last Tuesday. The right-hander picked up the win tossing six solid innings. Knott scattered five hits allowing one run, while notching five strikeouts and walking three.
The Bulldogs have not announced who their starter will be for the contest.
The two teams last met in 2011 with Lipscomb notching a 13-3 win over Alabama A&M.
