Lipscomb basketball player Jimmy Oden, a 6-3 guard from Murfreesboro, Tenn., has asked for his release from the Bisons.

Oden played two seasons for Lipscomb appearing in 56 games, starting four.  He averaged 5.5 points and three assists per game.

“Jimmy has been a tremendous asset to our team over the past two years,” head coach Scott Sanderson said.   “I wish him the best as he finishes his collegiate career and throughout life.”
