Lipscomb welcomes five new players to its roster this year. Last year the Bisons signed three players to National Letters of Intent.
Brandon Barnes from Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, Ga., and Zach Brown from William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio, will join the Bisons backcourt next year. Serbian native Milos Kleut of North Cobb Christian in Kennesaw, Ga., will provide another big body in the Lipscomb post.
The Bisons received a key addition in the late spring when point guard Johnny Lee announced he will join the Bisons squad after graduating from George Washington University. Lee played three years at the Atlantic 10 school. Through a transfer exception that allows players to transfer without penalty after they complete an undergraduate degree, Lee will be eligible to play immediately.
Guard Jerry Macon of Southfield High School in Southfield, Mich., was added to the squad in June.
In addition to the five newcomers, the Bisons will place three new players on the court this year that redshirted last season. Guard Jacob Arnett and forward Matt Shaw will see action this year after sitting out their freshman season as redshirts. Sophomore center Justin Glenn will also wear the Lipscomb jersey for the first time this year after sitting out last year after transfering from Centenary College.
