Lipscomb's men's basketball team provided a preview late last season for what the Bisons have planned for this season.

After spending several years as one of the top defensive teams in the Atlantic Sun Conference, Lipscomb showed during a nine-game win streak it had an offense capable of scoring lots of points. The Bisons averaged 82.4 points during the streak that started Feb. 9 and ended March 6.

Lipscomb tied with Jacksonville for first place in the preseason Atlantic Sun poll.
