SMITH - 2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After more than three weeks on the road, the Lipscomb men’s basketball team finally returns home on Thursday night hosting Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m. at Allen Arena in a game that is set to air on ESPN3.
“We are really excited to be back home,” said Lipscomb head coach Casey Alexander. “It feels like it has been a long time since we played in front of our Bison fans. But what excites me the most is being able to play a team that is playing really well, that plays hard and will give us a significant challenge.”
Lipscomb (3-4) faces a tough task in stopping the Golden Eagles (5-4) high-powered, uptempo offense.
“Their whole ambition is to get the game going fast,” said Alexander. “They play fast offensively and they really get after you on defense and pressure everywhere. It will be important for us to keep our composure on both ends of the floor and not let their pressure rattle us.”
Steve Selby and Justin Seamon will team to bring the action on the ESPN3 broadcast while Jonathan Seamon, Jay Walton and Jared Revlett will be on hand to deliver the radio broadcast on 94.9 Game 2.
