The Lipscomb Bisons came back from Christmas break with hot shooting hands.
Saturday night they handed Marshall University its first home loss of the season with a 72-62 win.
The Bisons placed four players in double figures. Senior forward Eddie Ard led the way with a game-high 22 points. Senior guard LaKory Daniels added 15 and freshman center Adnan Hodzic finished with 12. Freshman forward Brandon Brown scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
The points totals for Daniels was a season high. Hodzic posted both a season and career high.
Three Marshall players scored in double figures. Mark Dorris had 15 points, Tirrell Baines tossed in 12 and Markel Humphrey finished with 13.
The Bisons are 6-8 as they closed out the non-conference portion of the season. Marshall dropped to 6-4.
The Bisons will travel to Campbell on Jan. 3 for the first Atlantic Sun game of the season.
