NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb men’s basketball team continues road action on Tuesday night making the short trek to take on in-state foe Austin Peay in a 7 p.m. nonconference tilt in Clarksville.
Taking on the fifth Ohio Valley Conference team in the past six games, the Bisons (4-5, 0-0 A-Sun) look to make it four-straight wins against the Governors (4-6, 0-0 OVC) in the NCAA era.
Leading scorers Martin and Malcolm Smith return to their hometown for the first time in their careers. Martin heads into the contest averaging 12.7 points per contest after leading the Bisons with an 18-point afternoon against No. 23 Kentucky. Malcolm ranks just behind his twin brother with an 11.4 point-per-game average.
Junior guard Khion Sankey continues to be a force on the boards hauling in 7.6 rebounds a night as the Bisons lead the Atlantic Sun Conference in rebounding.
The Governors are led by senior forward Anthony Campbell, who is scoring 12.1 points per night.
