The Lipscomb Bisons golf team came from behind in the third round Tuesday to win the Murray State University Spring Invitational.
The tournament was played at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.
The Bisons shot a final round 293 as a team to clinch the win. They finished with a three-round total of 864, one shot ahead of second place Tennessee Tech.
Clint Suggs was the top finisher for the Bisons, tying for fourth place with a three-round total of 214 (69-71-74). Cody Hale tied for sixth with a 215 (69-70-76).
Parker Beck tied for 17th with a 219 (70-76-73) followed by Brandon Mundie in a tie for 27th with a 219 (79-70-74) and Cory Parkinson in a tie for 31st with a 224 (76-76-72).
Suggs was named to the All-Tournament team.
The final round was played in very windy conditions. The scoring average jumped fro 74.17 for the first two rounds to 74.82 for the final round.
