The Lipscomb men’s golf team fired a 321 and currently sits in 18th place after the first round of the UK Bluegrass Invitational at the par-71 University Club of Kentucky on Saturday.
Senior Brandon Mundie carded a 78 to lead the Bisons in round one Saturday. Mundie is in a tie for 63rd place.
Sophomores Blanton Farmer and Alex Cox both shot a 79 in round-one and currently sit in a tie for 70th.
Andrew Brock fired an 85 and Dustin Wilder shot an 88 to round out the Bisons in round one.
Auburn leads the 18-team field after the first day with a 3-over-par 287. Marshall and Toledo are tied for third with a 7-over-par 291.
Play was suspended halfway through the second round due to darkness after a two-hour rain delay stopped play in the middle of the opening round. Teams and individuals will resume the second round Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. ET by shotgun start, before continuing play into the final round. No scores from the second round will be collected or turned in until after completion Sunday morning.
