The Lipscomb athletic department extends its sympathy to the family of former golfer and graduate assistant coach Paul Warren who passed away Thursday in a massive traffic accident in Hendersonville, Tenn.

Warren graduated from Lipscomb in 2006 with a degree in marketing and served as a graduate assistant coach for the Bison golf program for the 2006-07 season while pursuing his master’s at Lipscomb.

“Today is a very sad day for the Lipscomb golf program,” said golf coach Buddy Harston.  “Paul was my graduate assistant when I arrived at Lipscomb.  He was an incredibly nice person and he completed every project happily.

“Paul came from a great family.  He never said anything bad about anyone.”

Paul married Molly McDaniel Warren just under seven weeks ago.
