The Bisons tennis team won three of six singles matches, but lost the doubles point in a 4-3 loss at Florida Gulf Coast March 19.

Daniel Hangstefer, James Murrell and Mario Hernandez all won singles matches.

"This was another tough conference match,” said Bisons coach Andrew Harris. “The guys did better in singles today by finishing off their matches in singles by winning in straight sets. Unfortunately the doubles was not what we were looking for and we were in too much of a whole to dig ourselves out of."

Doubles:

1) Aime/Bacon (FGCU) def. Hernandez/Hangstefer (LU), 8-1

2) Lee/Garibovic (FGCU) def. Murrell/Pierron (LU), 8-0

3) McArdle/Mizzell (LU) def. Henderson/Lima (FGCU), 8-3
