Women's Golf tied for 8th in the F&M Bank APSU tourney

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.-Savanna Schubert leads the Lipscomb women's golf team as they opened play in the F&M Bank Austin Peay State University (APSU) Intercollegiate Monday.
After the first round of play, Schubert is tied for third with a 75 along with Marisa Kamelgarn of Morehead State and Tala Mumford of Austin Peay.
The team stands in a tie for eighth place with a combined 329. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Bisons are Danielle Grace (82), Sami Khan (83), Mackenzy Carter (89) and Morgan Bucher (89).
The F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate is being held at the Clarksville Country Club, a par-72 course over 5,960 yards. There are 10 other teams in tournament play as well as twelve players competing as individuals. Final round play will take place Tuesday at 8:30 am with a shotgun start.
