NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After three-straight games on the road to begin the 2013 season, the Lipscomb women’s soccer team will make its long-awaited home debut Monday at 7 p.m. The Lady Bisons host 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Champions UT-Martin.

The Lady Bisons, 1-1-1 overall, are unbeaten in their last two contests coming off a 10-0 win at Alabama A&M and playing to a scoreless tie at Middle Tennessee State.

The SkyHawks are 0-2-1 on the season, having also tied Middle Tennessee, along with losses to Oklahoma State and Evansville. UT-Martin has yet to place a ball in the back of the net in the early portion of the season but is led by Ellie Myrick who has seven shots placing four on goal.

Goalkeeper Mariah Klenke has 23 saves in 27 shots faced on net.

Lady Bison freshman goalkeeper Anna Buhigas recorded her second-consecutive shutout Friday night stopping all nine shots that came her way. She has made a strong case to be the Atlantic Sun Conference Defender of the Week, owning a league-high 20 saves.

The five-game homestand continues Friday as Lipscomb hosts Alabama State at 7 p.m.
