The Lady Bisons golf team set a new team record in the second round of the Great Smokies Women's Intercollegiate Sunday with a 315 total score, breaking the old mark of 317 for one round.
The Lady Bisons finished in tie for 22nd with Monmouth in the tournament with a two-day score of 646.Western Carolina University won the tournament for the fourth straight time shooting a tournament record two-day total of 596 in Waynesville, N.C.
Brie Rowdon was the top finisher for the Lady Bisons with a 153 (77, 76) which tied her for 59th place.
Ashlee Catlin was 100th with a 162 (87, 75).
Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Bisons were Callie Rice at 107th with a 165 (84, 81), Callie Rice with a tie for 108th with a 166 (83, 83) and Liz Austin in a tie for 115th with a score of 175 (89, 84).
