Ruth Mick's 11th place finish led Lipscomb's Lady Bisons to a third place finish Saturday in the Vanderbilt Invitational at Edwin Warner Park.
Mick covered the 5-K course in a time of 19:42.45. Susan Worden was the second highest finisher for the Lady Bisons with a time of 20:14.35, good enough for 21st place.
Teammate Samantha Wood was close behind in the 23rd spot with a time of 20:21.13.
Also competing for the Lady Bisons were Elizabeth Schall (28th with a time of 20:34.78), Candice Cox (36th with a time of 20:56.39), Deanna Edwards (40th with a time of 21:15.93) and Amanda Wright (42nd with a time of 21:25.88).
Seven teams competed in the women's division. Vanderbilt finished first followed by Belmont.
