Ruth Mick broke Lipscomb University's women's 5K record with a time of 18:08 Oct. 8 at the Auburn University Invitational.

Mick placed 38th overall to lead the Lady Bisons to a 15th place finish at Indian Pines Golf Course.

Mick has been the No. 1 runner for the Lady Bisons for the last two years.

Mick is the Lady Bisons captain and helped fortify the LU cross-country team's G.P.A. last year which was the highest cross-country team G.P.A. of any Divison I, NCAA team.

Ruth Mick is an Environmental Science major from Zelinople, Penn.
