Jacksonville, Fla., wasn't a great destination for the Bisons soccer team.
Saturday night they fell 4-0 at Jacksonville after losing 1-0 to North Florida on Thursday in Atlantic Sun competition.
Bisons freshman goalkeeper Danny Prichard allowed three first half goals, the most he has given up this season. Jake Goergen started the second half for the Bisons and allowed one goal. Prichard and Goergen each made three saves.
Jacksonville goalkeeper Chad Comroe made three saves on the way to the shutout.
The Bisons were credited with 12 shots, but only three were shots on goal. T.J. Williams, Alexi Achilleos and Josh Inglebright had one shot apiece.
Jacksonville recorded 19 shots, 10 were shots on goal.
Four different players scored for Jacksonville. Ramak Safi Niakan scored at 4:11 of the first half on a header off of a corner kick. Bojan Milicevic assisted. Milicevic scored the fourth and last goal for Jacksonville at 67:22 of the second half.
Anton Axelsson gave Jacksonville a 2-0 first half lead with an unassisted goal at 20:35. Philip Meyner connected on the third goal of the first half at the 44:02 mark with a shot from 30 feet out.
The Bisons are 5-7-2, 1-3-1 in the A-Sun. Jacksonville is 4-9-1, 2-3 in the conference.
The Bisons are back on their home field Thursday night at 7 for an A-Sun showdown with Gardner-Webb.
