Sunday, September 24, 2006 Sept. 24, 2006 GALLERY Sophomore co-captain Jordan Wilson finished third in the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic this weekend leading the Bisons to second place in Division I competition. Wilson finished the 8K race in 27:53. Freshman David Wolfe finished in the top ten as well with a time of 29:08 for 9th place. Paul Irvin placed 11th (29:24), Jared Carlson placed 13th (29:42), Andrew Shankles placed 16th (30:35), and Tim Cotton placed 20th (32:56). Ryan Chastain who finished first in both of the previous races didn't compete this week and Co-Captain Clint Carter is still recovering from an injury. Vanderbilt placed 1st at the meet and Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State finished 3rd and 4th. There were 28 Division I runners and 62 competitors overall.
