The Lipscomb Lady Bisons were unable to get their offense on track Saturday afternoon in a 4-0 loss to visiting Campbell at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
The Lady Bisons were down 1-0 at the half as Campbell's Caity Brown scored at 27:10 on a rebound of a shot that was deflected by Lipscomb goaltender Katie Shelton. It was the first goal scored this season for Campbell, which came into the Atlantic Sun Conference contest with an 0-6 record.
Campbell stuck for three goals in the second period. Kaili Terry, sister of Lipscomb soccer player Kevin Terry, scored the second goal of the game at 46:41 with an assists from Jessica Tacha.
Aletheia Fadness scored third goal of the game unassisted at 54:13.
Tacha closed out the scoring at 84:43 as she found the goal on a one-on-one play.
Shelton turned back 13 shots, her third highest total of the season. Campbell made 20 shots, 17 shots on goal.
Samar Azem and Ashley Pate combined for the shutout for Campbell. The Lady Bisons had one shot by Sasha Sack. They had no shots on goal.
The Lady Bisons slipped to 1-10, 0-2 in the conference.
