#43 Jason Hopkins: A native of Seattle, Washington, Jason is the son of Lisa and Dan Hopkins. Jason and his wife Melissa have a daughter, Genesis. Jason played two seasons for Cochise Community College in Douglas, Arizona before joining the Bisons last season. Since becoming a member of Lipscomb's team, Jason has shown tremendous leadership ability both on and off the court. During the 2006-2007 season, Jason was second on the team in field goal percentages, connecting on 59% of his shots. He scored a career high 17 points against Kennesaw State. He ranked second on the team in rebounds with 164. Jason picked up where he left off last season to help the Bisons this year. He averages 4.4 points per game and has pulled down a total of 172 rebounds, including 5 games with 10 or more. He also leads the team in blocked shots with 26. Jason plans to graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in Bible.
#20 LaKory Daniels: A native of Troy Alabama, LaKory is the son of Gwendolyn and Vaughn Daniels. LaKory began his collegiate career at the University of Alabama. However, he spent his freshman season as a medical redshirt. LaKory played in four games for Alabama the following season before transferring to Lipscomb in the spring of 2005. He became eligible for the Bisons late in December and made his debut against Jackson State on December 17, 2005. LaKory caught fire in the 2005-2006 Atlantic Sun Tournament scoring in double figures in all three games. His performance earned him a spot on the Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team. LaKory played in all 31 games during the 2006-2007 season. His best game of the year came against Mercer when he posted 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. LaKory spent part of last summer improving his skills in the Dominican Republic with the SCORE Team. His hard work has helped him transform into a major contributor for the Bisons this season. LaKory is averaging 8.8 points per game, and he leads the Bisons this season from behind the three-point line with 55 made shots. LaKory plans to graduate with a degree in Marketing.
#14 Eddie Ard. A native of LaPlace Louisiana, Eddie is the son of Eddie Ard Sr. After spending his freshman season as a medical redshirt for Lipscomb, Eddie worked hard to become a better player for the 2004-2005 season. He managed to average 7.3 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game in his debut season. Eddie was honored by being named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All Freshmen Team. The 2005-2006 season brought even more Atlantic Sun honors to Eddie Ard. He was named to the First Team All-Atlantic Sun Team and the Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team. Eddie led the team in scoring that season with 16.2 points per game. He scored 10 points or more in 28 out of 32 games that year. Eddie Ard was one of only 2 players to start all 31 games for the Bisons last season. He led the team in scoring with a total of 464 points. Eddie was also named to the Second Team All-Atlantic Sun selection. In the Atlantic Sun, Eddie finished first in free-throw percentage, hitting 83.6 percent of his attempts. He finished 5th in scoring among all Atlantic Sun players with an average of 15 points per game.
Eddie spent countless hours over this past summer to prepare himself for this season. He played for the Reach USA team in China for a portion of the summer in order to become a better overall player. This season Eddie has managed to lead the Bisons with 15.2 points per game. He scored a career high 35 points against Campbell on January 3, 2008. Just 23 days later on the January 26, Eddie eclipsed the 1,500 point mark against Kennesaw State. Only one other player has managed to accomplish that feat since Lipscomb entered the NCAA. Eddie Ard now holds the 16th spot on Lipscomb's all-time scoring list with 1,598 career points.
