A slow start was difficult for the Lipscomb Lady Bisons to overcome.
Saturday afternoon at Allen Arena the Lady Bisons spotted ETSU a 9-0 lead and were outscored 21-4 to open the Atlantic Sun game. That start set the stage for the rest of the game as ETSU won 77-55.
ETSU placed four players in double figures with center Jenny Norman leading the way with a game-high 21 points. Forward Latisha Belcher added 15. Forward Michele DeVault and guard Tara Davis each scored 10.
Belcher also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to record a double-double.
Forward Jilian Partin was the only Lady Bisons player to reach double figures in scoring with 11. It was the sixth time this season Partin has reached double figures.
Freshman forward Cree Nix led the Lady Bisons with six rebounds. It was the third time this season she has led the Lady Bisons on the boards.
