The Lipscomb softball team (29-22 Overall, 16-6 A-Sun) climbed ten spots in the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) this week to break into the top 100 at No. 94 the NCAA announced on Wednesday. It is the highest the Lady Bisons have been ranked in the NCAA era. The RPI is a weighted combination of win-loss record and strength of schedule used to determine NCAA Tornament eligibility and seeding. The Lady Bisons swept Tennessee State 4-3 and 2-0 on Tuesday and are preparing to take on Western Kentucky in a double header on Wednesday, April 30 at 5 p.m. at Draper Diamond. The Lady Bisons will recognize their graduating seniors with special activities before the start of game one. |
