We would like to welcome Lipscomb athletics fans to our new website.
We are still called LipscombSports.com, but we have a new website provider, Streamline Technologies. The company also is the website provider for the Atlantic Sun Conference along with fellow conference members Florida Gulf Coast and Jacksonville. Some of Streamline's other sites include the Nashville Sounds, the Triple-A baseball affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A baseball affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Our goal is to keep our fans and friends informed about what is happening in Lipscomb athletics in a timely and entertaining presentation. Our new site is more visual, providing a rotation of five photos and stories at the top of the main page and new video content as well.
The video aspect of the site will provide the opportunity for weekly interviews with coaches, game highlights and pre-game and post-game interviews as well.
As with any new venture there will be a need to fine-tune the product. We ask that you be patient as we add the finishing touches to the new site over the next several days.
The new site will also make is easier for parents to register their children for camp, for fans to buy tickets and for those wanting to provide financial support to the athletic department to make their donations.
We would like to thank Alex Short of Streamline Technologies; Trevor Garrett; sports information student assistant; and Mark McGee, director of media relations for athletics; for their work in designing the new site.
We look forward to hearing your comments.
