The Lady Bisons volleyball team left Morehead State with a lot of lessons learned, but no match wins.
Saturday afternoon the Lady Bisons lost 3-1 to Morehead State, host of the Comfort Inn and Suites Classic, at Wetherby Gym in Morehead, Ky.
The Lady Bisons lost set one 25-21, won set two 25-23 and the lost set three 27-25 and set four 25-23.
Sophomore middle blocker Alex Kelly, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, made a match high 22 kills and also posted a match-high and career-high .571 hitting percentage. Junior middle blocker Amy Trykowski added 11 kills and posted a career-high .471 hitting percentage.
Defensively senior libero Sarah Snider made a match-high 24 digs. Junior opposite Erin Pierce added 11 digs.
Morehead State was led by two players with double-double performances. Kaitlin Craven made 14 kills and 15 digs. Ashley Doscher tied for the team lead in kills with 14 and chipped in with 10 digs.
Kristina Schoo was the team leader in digs with 18.
The Lady Bisons are 0-3. Morehead State is 3-0.
