Wednesday, September 17, 2008Coach Don Meyer remains in a step down room according to information from Northern State University Wednesday.
They are in the process of decreasing his pain medication - this is making him a bit uncomfortable but he continues to focus on the journey in front of him. Coach Mayer was looking at the paper Wednesday and finding articles that he had Carmen, his wife, sending out to various people with personal notes.
The immediate focus continues to be on his leg, and monitoring blood counts and a blood clot in his arms.
Coach Meyer's daughter Brittany arranged for a picture of Governor Palin to be delivered to his room. Coach Meyer was pleased. His comment to folks continues to be "Pray for him and Vote for Palin."
The family continues to request prayers for his recovery.
