MACON, Ga. - On Tuesday, the NCAA released its annual graduation success rate reports and the Atlantic Sun member institutions continued to build their long-standing academic tradition with each school and each sport reporting above national average reports.
Among the 13 programs the conference sponsors, the seven schools rated by the NCAA (FGCU, Kennesaw State, UNF and USC Upstate were not ranked in this report) combined to post 56 of 90 programs graduating at higher rates than the national GSR. The NCAA groups cross country, indoor and outdoor track together as one program

"We've made a commitment to a true balance between "student" and "athlete" in the Atlantic Sun, and the latest GSR figures give a tremendous confirmation of our success," Atlantic Sun Commissioner Ted Gumbart said. "The performance of A-Sun student-athletes is superior, and we need to share the credit with our faculty, our coaches and our administrators who provide such outstanding support. Our membership is very proud to build on its tradition of academic achievement, a major part of the A-Sun effort in Building Winners for Life."
All seven schools featured at least three sports that recorded 100 percent graduation success rates led by Campbell who had eight sports with 100 percent graduation rates. Six of the seven Camels' women's sports earned 100 percent rates. Lipscomb followed Campbell with six sports earning 100 percent graduation rates. Women's tennis and volleyball each saw five of the seven schools record 100 percent graduation rates while on the men's side, tennis represented the sport with the most 100 percent rates with four.
