Saturday, March 07, 2009 The Bisons began conference play in Johnson City, Tenn. Friday at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center on the campus of East Tennessee State University with a 7-0 loss.
The Buccaneers are No. 60 in the nation and No. 1 in the Atlantic Sun.
The Bisons struggled to put points together for a match win. Daniel Hangstefer delivered well offensively in his first set, but lost against Daniel Isaza in no. 2 singles. Hangstefer’s no. 2 match score was 7-6, 6-2.
The Bisons travel to the University of South Carolina-Upstate Saturday, March 7 where they will continue conference play. Following that match, they will play Wofford Sunday, March 8.
Lipscomb’s next home match is March 11 against IPFW at 4 p.m. The location is yet to be announced.
