Senior Raphaela Jann did not play.

“It hurts to have Raphaela out of the lineup today,” said Lady Bisons coach Kristin Lusk. “But it was a good experience for everyone to step up.”

Kara Jackson stepped up to play Jann’s spot in No.1 singles. Jackson fell to Galbarini 6-1, 6-2.

Danielle Hansen went into a tie-breaker in her singles match, but lost 6-2, 7-6 (4).

“Stetson is a good team,” said Lusk. “They were solid.”

The Lady Bisons will travel to Buies Creek, N.C. for a conference match against Campbell University, March 27.

Lipscomb’s next home match is April 3 against Kennesaw State University.
