At one time gymnastics was a perennial nationally ranked sport at Lipscomb under the direction of coach Tom Hanvey. The gymnastics team members are planning a reunion. Kit Bunger, a former member of the team is still involved in the sport as co-owner of Let It Shine Gymnastics. He spent a few minutes answering some questions for lipscombsports.com.

Nicole Burgess played both basketball and tennis for the Lipscomb. She has been teaching in the Metro Public School System in Nashville for 23 years, the last three at Hume-Fogg Magnet. She was named the Metropolitan Public Schools 2011 Teacher of the Year in the high school division.

Celeste Peacock Middleton played basketball at Lipscomb from 1982-86 under Frank Bennett and Trish Duty. Today she lives in Murfreesboro and is an agent for State Farm.

April Ezell played badminton, basketball, and tennis at Lipscomb. She went on to serve as an assistant women's basketball coach for 14 years. Today she teaches in the Kinesiology Department at Lipscomb.

Frankie Mayo Williams is a member of the Lipscomb Athletics Hall of Fame and is one of the top tennis players to compete as a Lady Bison. She was the team captain and played the No.1 position in both singles and doubles all four years. She graduated from Lipscomb in 1976 with a degree in Home Economics.

Raymond Harvey played baseball at Lipscomb from 1987-1990 under legendary coaches Ken Dugan and Al Austelle. Today Raymond is the owner of Stronghold Fitness in Murfreesboro.

Bayron Binkley served as the mascot for the Lipscomb Bisons from 1978-79. Since graduating he has been a strong support of athletics programs. He serves on the radio broadcast crew of David Lipscomb High School football games.

Marcus Bodie was one of the most exciting players in Bisons basketball history playing from 1986 to 1990. He is college basketball's all-time steals leader with 440 steals.

Richard Taylor played basketball at Lipscomb from 1983-87 under coach Don Meyer. He was a member of the 1986 NAIA National Championship team.

Chris Snoddy worked as a student trainer for the Lipscomb athletics teams and also spent several years after graduation with the athletics department as the head trainer and a teacher in the kinesiology deparment. Snoddy spent some time to talk with LipscombSports.com about his time on campus.

Courtney Boynton West played basketball for the Lady Bisons from 2001 to 2005. She is the leading scorer for Lipscomb in the NCAA-era with 1,438 points. Today she is a physical education teacher at Madison Creek Elementary.

John Mansfield played basketball at Lipscomb from 1958-60. Today he spends a great deal of his time serving as an Abraham Lincoln presenter, making public appearances across the country as the 16th president of the United States.

Ted Jamison started for the Lipscomb baseball team as the lead-off hitter and center field from 1969 to 1972 under head coach Ken Dugan. Jamison was the first African-American to play baseball at Lipscomb and he is a member of the Lipscomb Hall of Fame.

Ann Mullins played volleyball at Lipscomb from 2005-2007. After transferring from the University of Tennessee Mullins was named Atlantic Sun Libero of the Year (2005) and was a three-time member of the Atlantic Sun All-Conference Team (First Team, 2006, 2007; Second Team, 2005).

Steve Fletcher graduated from Lipscomb in 1977 after a brilliant career both as a hitter and pitcher. During Steve's career the Bisons averaged an amazing 45 wins a season. Steve Fletcher will always be known for leading Lipscomb to their first National Championship and putting Lipscomb athletics on the map.

Beth Stewart Stark is easily the most decorated player in the 30-year history of women's basketball at Lipscomb University. Stark played at the No. 4 forward spot from 1992 through 1996 for the Lady Bisons during the NAIA era.
