Lipscomb Athletics is now “Tweeting” the latest news, insights, score updates, and more through its official Twitter account, LipscombBisons.

As a way to reward our loyal fans, we will be giving away a pair of Lipscomb basketball season tickets next Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT to a randomly selected follower of LipscombBisons.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that is designed to connect businesses, organizations and individuals. Each Twitter post (or "tweet") is displayed on the users' profile page and can also be received on a user's cell phone via text, instant message, email, on social networking sites such as Facebook or Myspace or on the web.

How to join Twitter and follow LipscombBisons:
1. Go to twitter.com.
2. Click on the green “Get Started – Join!” button.
3. Type in your name, create your username, make a password, and enter your e-mail address.
4. Enter the security words.
5. Click “Create My Account”.
6. You now have a Twitter account!
7. Go to http://twitter.com/LipscombBisons. Click the FOLLOW button.

Rules and Regulations:
Contest is open to all residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older.  All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Winner will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries to be conducted at 3:00 p.m. central time on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. All decisions are final and binding.  The winner will be contacted by direct message through Twitter.
