Lipscomb junior center Adnan Hodzic continues to receive accolades for his performance this season having been named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.
Hodzic averaged 22.7 points, tops in the Atlantic Sun Conference and second highest tally in the nation, along with 9.1 rebounds per game. He was named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year by the league coaches.
He has scored in double figures 57 consecutive games, the longest streak in the nation. Hodzic finished the season with three extremely dominant performances as he averaged 30 points and 18.3 rebounds.
The AP recognized a total of 57 athletes between its first, second and third teams along with honorable mention.
Hodzic's honors this year included being named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year and an All-District 3 First-Team member by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He was named Second Team Mid-Major All-American by CollegeHoops.net. Hodzic was named the A-Sun's Most Valuable Player by CollegeInsider.com.
