Tuesday, September 20, 2011 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The sounds of mitts popping and bats cracking echoed through Ken Dugan Field on Tuesday afternoon as the Lipscomb baseball squad began their fall camp in preparation for the 2012 campaign. “We always start out the fall practice and everybody is excited to be here,” said Lipscomb skipper Jeff Forehand. “Next week we will start building up our intrasquads which will begin playing just about every day in October where we can get some competition going and find out who’s going to fit best at what spot.” The Bisons return a number of veterans from the 2011 squad along with plenty of new faces that will take the field this season for Lipscomb.
