JSU’s Brittany Manning matched Bowers with 23 points on the night to lead the Gamecocks. Destiny Lane added 19 to finish in double figures along with Briana Morrow, who scored a dozen and Danielle Vaughn, who added 10. Bolstered by their last eight makes, Jacksonville State won the battle at the charity stripe with a 76 percent night compared to Lipscomb, who shot 56 percent.
The Lady Bisons continue road action later this week participating in Vanderbilt’s Thanksgiving Tournament. Lipscomb takes on the host Commordores on Friday at 2 p.m. and then will meet up with either No. 12 Oklahoma or Liberty on Saturday afternoon.
