Bisons in fifth after first day of Grub Mart Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Lipscomb Bisons golf team is in fifth place after two rounds of the Grub Mart Intercollegiate at the Silver Lakes Golf Course in Jacksonville, Ala.

The Bisons finished with a team score of 613 (305, 308) Monday over 36-holes. Jacksonville State, the host team, leads with a team score of 583.

Alex Cox is the top golf for the Bisons after two rounds. He is tied for 12th with score of 151 (72, 79). Also in the top 20 is Dustin Wilder. He is tied for 17th with a score of 152 (78, 74).

Paul Kleine-Kracht shot identical scores of 77 in each round. His score of 154 is tied for 25th.

Blanton Farmer shot back-to-back 78s, His 156 score is tied for 33rd.

Ryan Terry has a two-round score of 159 (79, 80) placing him in a tie for 40th.

The 54-hole tournament ends Tuesday.
