NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With a layer of snow and ice sitting atop the tarp at Clark-Leclair Stadium in Bowling Green, Ky., Lipscomb and Western Kentucky have moved Wednesday’s game scheduled to be hosted by the Hilltoppers to Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium on the Lipscomb campus.
The contest will still feature a 4 p.m. first pitch in the nonconference battle.
With the switch in venues for Wednesday’s game, the contest scheduled to be hosted by the Bisons on April 2 will now be played in Bowling Green.
The Bisons (4-8) are fresh off a series win over Connecticut. After dropping the Friday night contest 6-4 in extra innings, Lipscomb bounced back with a 4-3 win Saturday before erupting on Sunday to get the 14-1 victory.
The Hilltoppers enter the Wednesday tilt 7-4 on the season. It will be Western Kentucky’s third trip to Nashville in the past two weeks. WKU lost to Belmont 7-3 Feb. 18, before taking a 3-2 decision at No. 4 Vanderbilt on Feb. 25.
Following the one-game set Wednesday, the Bisons stay in Nashville to host a four-game series with Oakland. The first game is set for Friday at 4 p.m.
