NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb women’s tennis team fell 7-0 to ETSU on Saturday at home. Lady Bisons stand 2-2 in Atlantic Sun conference play after this loss.
ETSU has been a dominant team in the conference since Lipscomb has been in the A-Sun.
“It was a great afternoon for our team regardless of a 7-0 score,” said Lipscomb women’s coach Jamie Aid.
“Our team was in the match with five of the singles matches and improved doubles with the level of play.
“ETSU was better than us today at converting game points.
“Our girls are hungry after knowing we have the ability to hold our own with anyone in the conference.
“There is no cap on good enough,” Aid said.
The Lady Bisons will be practicing for the next two weeks before playing in their next A-Sun matches.
Coach Aid is happy to see progress from the team’s performance on Saturday and is looking forward to their next match, which will be played on March 28 against Tennessee State at 4 p.m.
