NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Bisons softball team didn’t have a win in Atlantic Sun competition this past weekend, but they did remain in the top 40 for the second week in a row in the NCAA Division I RPI.
Last week the Lady Bisons were in the 30th position, but dropped back to 35th this week. They are one of three Atlantic Sun teams in the top 40.
USC Upstate, which beat the Lady Bisons in three games Saturday and Sunday, moved up to 21st. Stetson is 32nd.
Mercer just missed the top 40, rated at 41st.
On a national basis as a team this week Lipscomb is 21st with a .771 win-loss percentage. They are 24th in doubles with 1.54 per game and 26th in scoring with 6.14 runs per game.
Individually, Paige Neely is fourth in sacrifice flies with four.
Left hurler Ashley Anderson is 37th in shutouts with four.
