Today's opening round of the Purple and Gold Challenge at Lipscomb's Draper Diamond has been canceled due to the weather. Texas-El Paso and IPFW were scheduled to play in the opening game followed by Lipscomb and Texas-El Paso in game two.

Four games are scheduled for Saturday if the weather cooperates.

Tennessee Tech will play IPFW at 11 a.m. Tennessee Tech will then play Texas-El Paso at 1:15. Lipscomb closes out the day facing IPFW at 3:30 and Texas-El Paso at 5:45.
