Final Stats

The Lipscomb softball team started the Chattanooga Challenge with a 6-2 loss to Ball State Friday afternoon.

Lauren Dortwegt scored first for the Lady Bisons in the top of the third inning on a single to left field by Kellie Sirus, and would finish the game going 2 for 3 and scoring one run.

Freshman MacKenzie Tucker scored the only other run for the Lady Bisons in the top of the fifth inning on a single to centerfield by Christen Campbell.

The Lady Bisons combined for seven hits but back-to-back three run innings by the Cardinals were too much to handle for the Lady Bisons.

The Lady Bisons fall to 2-5, and have four more games left in the tournament.
