Lipscomb volleyball coach Brandon Rosenthal had praise that included one of his veterans and one of his newcomers.
Rosenthal sang the praises of veteran Lindsey Rutherford as well as that of junior college transfer Samantha Sullivan and Ann Mullins, a transfer from the University of Tennessee.
"They played extremely solid games,' Rosenthal said.
The Lady Bisons lost the match in Clarksville Friday night 3-1. Austin Peay opened with a 30-24 victory in game one. The Lady Bisons rallied in game two to win 30-23, but fell 30-17 in game three and 30-18 in game four.
Mullins recorded a match-high 27 digs. Rutherford added 17 digs, but also finished with a .342 hitting percentage.
"We had too many mental problems," Rosenthal said. "We can't let that carry over."
