NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After dropping a tough, 81-75 overtime loss at Jacksonville on Monday night, the Lipscomb women’s basketball takes on North Florida at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon at UNF Arena in Jacksonville.

The Lady Bison (3-11, 1-2 A-Sun) are looking to rebound after Monday night’s loss that saw Lipscomb turn the ball over 31 times.  To do so would mean the first win for the Lady Bison at UNF Arena having come up short in five previous attempts.  The Ospreys hold a 10-1 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools.

Lipscomb junior wing Hannah Phillips continues to lead the Purple and Gold with a 12.4 point per game and 5.4 rebound per contest average.  The veteran is followed just behind in scoring by senior guard Anna Bowers, who is averaging 11.8 points a night after a 20-point effort against Jacksonville.

The opponent:  North Florida (4-9, 1-1 A-Sun) is coming off a 54-37 loss to Belmont that snapped a four-game home winning streak for the Ospreys.

UNF senior guard Brittany Kirkland leads the way for the Ospreys offensively averaging 12.5 points per contest while junior forward Larkira Jones is a force on the glass for UNF hauling in 7.2 rebounds per contest.
