Lipscomb on the Air The Lipscomb Lady Bisons (4-21, 2-13 A-Sun) attempt to avoid tying their longest losing streak in the NCAA-era, 10 games, when they travel to Spartanburg, S.C., to face USC Upstate (15-8, 9-5 A-Sun) Thursday evening at 4 p.m. CT. After falling behind by 17 in the first half against Jacksonville Monday night, the Lady Bisons were not able to recover and fell 62-43. Freshman Hannah Phillips and junior Valerie Bronson led Lipscomb with eight points each. It was the second straight game that a Lady Bison didn’t score in double digits. Copney shot 6-of-11 from the 3-point line while Upstate shot 51.6 percent from the floor.
