NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Reaching the midway point of a three-game road trip, the Lipscomb women’s basketball team travels to Stetson, the co-leaders of the Atlantic Sun Conference, on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for noon and can be seen on ESPN3.

The Lady Bisons run an attack that ranks 48th in NCAA Division I with 6.7 made 3-point baskets per game. Senior Hannah Phillips leads the team with 1.93 made 3-point baskets per game, ranking her third in the A-Sun. Freshman Presley Stastny follows closely with 1.86 made treys per game, ranking her fifth in the league.

Junior Jess Reece, who has seen an increase in production since the start of A-Sun play, is at the top of the A-Sun leaderboard shooting 63 percent from the field. She is also averaging a team-high 9.3 rebounds, ranking her second in the Atlantic Sun, just behind Mercer’s Teanna Robinson, who snags 9.8 rebounds per game in conference play.

The Hatters, the top pick in the preseason in the A-Sun, enter Saturday’s contest 13-4 overall and 6-0 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. SU comes off a weekend where they defeated USC Upstate 84-66 and ETSU 71-55.

Stetson is led by Preseason Player of the Year Victoria McGowan with 17.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Shanasa Sanders and Jama Sharp each average double-digits with 12.6 points and 10.8 points per game, respectively.
