NEW ORLEANS. – The Lipscomb women’s cross country squad moved up one spot, to fourth place, in the latest USTFCCCA South Region Coaches Poll. In the same poll, the Lipscomb men remained in sixth place.

The Lady Bisons, who were off last weekend, moved into fourth place stepping in front of Georgia. Lipscomb is the only Atlantic Sun Conference program in the women’s rankings.

Florida State is the top-ranked squad followed by Vanderbilt and Florida.

On the men’s side, the Bisons held steady after taking the weekend off. Fellow A-Sun competitors, ETSU, are ranked ninth in the poll.

Florida, Florida State and Georgia are the top three men’s teams.

Both Lipscomb squads return to action Friday at the Notre Dame Invite in South Bend, Ind.
