Lipscomb hall of famer Bruce Bowers recently took a few moments to chat with Bowers is still a member of the Nashville community working the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
June 13, 2012 recently caught up with former baseball standout Bob Parsons to talk about his time with the Bisons. Parsons was part of the 1977 team that won the NAIA World Series under Ken Dugan.

Herbert Murphy walked-on as a baseball player at Lipscomb and started four years. He then spent his time in the teaching world from high schools to prisons. This week he talked with about his time at Lipscomb and where he is now.

Reggie “Rock” Whittemore, a former Lipscomb Bison outfielder, has been named to the Metro Nashville Public Schools Sports Hall of Fame. Whittemore is a former baseball star from McGavock High School. He has been head of the RBI program in Nashville since its beginning in 1996.

Max Mayes played basketball at Lipscomb from 1958-1961 when they were a part of the VAA. Now he spends his time doing mission work with his wife, and visiting their children.

Kelli Dobbins Hasley was one of the early members of the Lipscomb softball team. She started her college career in 1997 and played in the NAIA days from 1998 through 2001. She works as an X-ray technician and spent some time with to talk about her time as a Lady Bison.

Kris Kinslow spent his days at Lipscomb playing golf in the mid-nineties and now lives with his family in Kentucky. He took some time to talk with about his time at Lipscomb, and a few of his favorite memories.

Ryan Roller is busy settling into his new job as the assistant headmaster for marketing and admissions at the David Lipscomb Campus School. Ryan played basketball at Lipscomb from 1999 to 2003.

A former Lipscomb golfer, Michael Shane Neal is a successful artist in the "Music City." Neal has painted portraits for a number of dignitaries including former United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

Jamie Pride played third base for the Bisons baseball team and was part of the “Miracle Bisons” team that fought its way out of the loser’s bracket and finished as runner-up in the NAIA World Series. He has joined former teammate Buddy Harston as an assistant coach for Lipscomb’s golf teams.

Joey Haines ran track for Lipscomb University, and later set many records as a coach at Lipscomb. After coaching at Austin Peay and Southeast Missouri State he is now retired in Missouri with his wife, Jane.

Dolph Morrison played baseball for Lipscomb in 1958 and 1959 before graduating in 1960. After excelling in Business and Math at Lipscomb, Dolph continued his outstanding achievements in the business world for over 40 years until his retirement in 2003.
