Lipscomb's Lady Bisons track and field team will participate in four indoor and seven outdoor meets for the 2005 season. Coach Clay Nicks announced the schedule Tuesday.
They will open the season at the Niswonger Invitational at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City Jan. 21-22.
Next on the schedule is a trip across town to Tennessee State University on Jan. 30.
There are also two meets in February with a trip to Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau on the 18th and the University of the South Invitational in Sewanee, Tenn.
The Lady Bisons will host the Lipscomb Quadrangular on March 4 to open the outdoor portion of the season.
On March 18-19 the Lady Bisons will participate in the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa.
April is a busy month with five meets starting with the Coach "O" Invitational in Troy, Ala., on April 2.
The Austin Peay Invitational in Clarksville, Tenn., is scheduled for April 9.
The Atlantic Sun Championships are April 15-16 in Nashville, but that meet will not close out the season for the Lady Bisons. They will head downtown April 22-23 for the Vanderbilt Invitational. They will close out the season April 30 with the Western Kentucky Invitational in Bowling Green, Ky.
