The Lipscomb Bisons and Lady Bisons track teams competed Friday and Saturday at the Gatorade Classic at Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

In men's competition the following Bisons placed:

100-meter dash: Burton Elrod, 10th, 11.76 seconds

800-meter run: Brandon Reeves, 5th, 2:02.40; Clint Carter, 6th, 2:02.78; Jacob Nelson, 12th, 2:06.36; Paul Irvin, 14th, 2:07.40; Andrew Shankles, 15th, 2:12.53; Chris Lucas, 16th, 2:22.92.

1500-meter run: Tim Cotton, 10th, 4.:29.46; Jared Carlson, 11th, 4:33.24.

5000-meter run: David Wolfe, 9th, 15:59.63.

Long jump: Burton Elrod, 6th, 6.41m; Josh Hogan, 11th, 5.20m.

Triple jump: Josh Hogan, 5th, 11.58m

The Lady Bisons placed in the following events:
