The Lipscomb Athletic Department can always count on Barry Brewer to lend a helping hand. Barry played tennis while a student at the University, but he is an active and enthusiastic supporter of all the athletic teams, serving as head of the Bison Booster Club for two seasons. Since its inception, he has worked as chairman of the annual Bison Scramble which benefits the golf team and also helps fund a scholarship in his name. He is also a successful businessman as the CEO of 21st Century Christian. A competitor in all aspects of his life, he enjoys watching Lipscomb athletes grow and mature on and off the field. Lipscomb coaches praise Barry for his friendship and support of their programs. The athletic department is proud to count on Barry Brewer as a friend. Barry passed away in December 2008.
