Caleb Joseph played for Lipscomb from 2007-2009 and helped the baseball program to its first-ever Atlantic Sun Championship and NCAA Tournament Berth. The catcher owns a career .323 batting average with 131 RBI, 25 home runs, and 115 runs over 164 games. At the end of his career, he held the Lipscomb NCAA record for single-season hits (89) and single-season home runs (17) in 2008, along with the single-season record for doubles (25) in 2007. He also ranked top-five in numerous single-season categories, including total bases (160; 2008), RBI (62; 2008), games played (63; 2008), total at-bats (260; 2008), total bases (125; 2007) and runs scored (54; 2008).  After his career, he also held the program’s career NCAA record for doubles (50) and ranked second in home runs (25), slugging percentage (.537), and total bases (329). He was a two-time Atlantic Sun First Team selection, the 2009 Atlantic Sun Tournament MVP, a 2008 ABCA/Rawlings South Region First Team member, and was named to the ASUN All-Decade Team. After his collegiate career, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the seventh round (No. 206) of the 2008 MLB Draft. He also played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Mets, and Seattle Mariners organizations.
